Sue Paish


Ms. Paish was the President and CEO of LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services from 2012 – 2017 and a member of the Board of Directors from 2006 – 2017. LifeLabs is Canada’s largest provider of community laboratory testing services, helping healthcare professionals diagnose, treat, monitor and prevent disease. Prior to joining LifeLabs, Ms Paish led Pharmasave Drugs (National) Ltd., the largest independently-owned and operated banner of community pharmacies in Canada – a position that she held following a successful career practicing law and managing an international law practice. Ms. Paish was the managing partner of Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP in British Columbia, where she led the growth of the firm from one office to an international presence of nine offices on three continents. Ms Paish is currently a director of CORIX Water Products and Utilities, the Chair of the Royal Columbian Hospital Campaign and a member of the BC Business Council Board and Executive Committee.

Ms. Paish received a Queen’s Counsel designation in 2000 and was awarded the UBC Faculty of Law Distinguished Alumni Award in 2003. She has also been recognized as one of Canada’s top 25 Women Lawyers and as one of BC’s Most Influential Women in Business. In the fall 2012, Ms. Paish was inducted into the Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Hall of Fame – one of only 88 women in Canada to have this honour bestowed upon them by the Women’s Executive Network (WXN).
